Bagua can be practised whether you are fit or not as the exercise can be performed at three different levels.
Level 1 is where the legs are barely bent and the exercise is done very gently. This is very good for anyone who wants to gain good health and a calm mind.
Level 2 the legs are in a deeper stance and the hand exercises are done more vigorously. This is a god workout and begins to build real fitness.
Level 3 you stand quite low and perform the exercises vigorously with low stretching stances.
Level 3 is a real workout and burns a lot of calories on par with the most intense aerobic workouts.
You choose which level you want to work depending on the results you want to achieve. Initially level 1 is where you will spend the most time while you are leaning.
